Garner man accused of construction fraud

— Sammy Lynn Jackson, 61, is accused of taking money for construction permits and materials that he never delivered.

Jackson, of 2711 N. Shiloh Road, is charged with three felony counts of obtaining property under false pretense.

He is accused of taking about $1,700 for “recreation and building permits,” and $1,500 for concrete that he never delivered, according to an arrest warrant.

Jackson was arrested Wednesday and held at the Wake County Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bail.
