Clerk pleads guilty in Wake County bail bonds scam

— A former court clerk pleaded guilty Friday in a bail bond scheme that cost Wake County Schools a million dollars, ABC11 reports.

Latoya Barnes appeared in a Raleigh courtroom and entered a guilty plea to altering court records. If the judge agrees to the deal, she will not serve any jail time.
