    Aldi does not accept coupons or provide bags. Bring your own reusable bags and a quarter to rent a cart. Your coin will be returned when you return the cart to the corral near the front door.

Aldi stores in the Triangle have especially good deals this week on cucumbers, grape tomatoes, onions, zucchini, potatoes, hot dogs and picnic fixings.

This week's top deals:

Cucumbers: 39 cents each.

Grape tomatoes: 89 cents per pint.

Vidalia onions: 99 cents for 2-lb. package.

Zucchini: 99 cents for 24-oz. package.

Sweet corn: $1.49 for four.

Baking potatoes: $1.69 for 5-lb. bag.

Hot dogs (12 oz.): 75 cents.

Hamburger and hot dog buns: 89 cents.

Chips: $1.19 to $1.49 per bag.

Pickles (16 oz.): $1.29.

Baked beans (28 oz.): $1.39.

Ketchup (38 oz.): $1.49.

Salsa (24 oz.): $1.69.

Wednesday meat special:

Bone-in strip steak: $7.99 per pound.

Ground beef: $10.99 for 5-lb. chub. That’s $2.20 per pound.
