WAKE FOREST — Police charged a 21-year-old man with using a gun with intent to kill Wednesday night after, they said, he fired shots toward two women and a child.
In an arrest warrant, police accused Brandon Rashaad Joyner of 214 Highgate Circle with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and said the weapon was a handgun.
A second warrant charged Joyner with injury to personal property, a misdemeanor, because bullets hit a car, police said.
No one was hurt in the incident, which led to Joyner’s arrest at 225 S. Taylor St. about 10 p.m.
Police said the incident apparently stemmed from an ongoing family dispute.
Joyner was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail Thursday for a court appearance.
