Marine reported missing after falling from Osprey aircraft

— Officials are searching a remote area of Bladen and Sampson counties for a North Carolina Marine who fell from an Osprey aircraft aircraft Monday night, ABC11 reports.

According to officials, the Marine was taking part in a "normal training mission" on the aircraft when the accident happened. The Marine's identity has not been released. The aircraft is based at New River Air Station.
