CARY — Town officials warned drivers that traffic was expected to be heavy in the area of North Harrison Avenue and Northwest Cary Parkway on Wednesday afternoon when the town's Veteran's Freedom Park is dedicated.
The dedication is scheduled for 3 p.m. and is open to the public. A flag-raising will be held at 2:30 p.m., the town said.
Officials said they will close a portion of the right turning lane on southbound North Harrison Avenue at Northwest Cary Parkway.
People attending the ceremony can park at Cary Academy and Perry Creek Baptist Church, the town said in an advisory.
