Chad Blake: No regard for life

May 24, 2014

Why is it that whenever products that we consume daily – such as beef, poultry, vegetables, pork – are found to be unsafe to eat, they are, by law, to be discarded? And yet the law continues to allow poisons to be injected into the very life-giving water supplies that we not only drink but bathe in daily.

There is a major abuse of standards specifically designed to protect us from harm. It’s all about the money.

Why, when our country is trying to be greener, do we allow ourselves to be poisoned by huge companies whose only vision is one of money and greed?
