Blue Cross announces board of trustee appointment

Anita Brown-Graham, director of the Institute for Emerging Issues at N.C. State University, has been named to the board of trustees at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Blue Cross CEO Brad Wilson praised Brown-Graham’s “leadership and commitment to connecting communities” in a news release.

Brown-Graham has been IEI’s director since January 2007. She previously worked 13 years at UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Government, where she provided training in strategic planning to communities.

Last year she was named a “Champion of Change” by The White House. She has a law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.
