Two Wake County Boy Scouts earn Eagle rank

Two Wake County Boy Scouts have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Sean J. Austin of Raleigh led in the construction of cabin beds for Umstead State Park.

Sean is a senior at Broughton High School in Raleigh and the son of Chris and Patti Austin. Sean is a member of Troop 353 at St. Paul’s Christian Church in Raleigh.

For his Eagle project, Tyler Young of Cary led the planning and construction of three Adirondack chairs to be used Cary High School library.

Tyler is a senior at Cary High School the son of Mike and Terri Young. He is a member of Troop 200 in Cary.
