Statistically speaking: Majority of owners say an increase in revenue comes from technology

According to a Microsoft for National Small Business Week survey of more than 500 small-business owners, 60 percent said an increase in revenue can be attributed to technology. Here are other findings.

60 percent of owners said technology allows them to compete with larger or similar-sized companies.

30 percent of small businesses that use cloud technology.

35 percent of owners said their top tech concern is the cost of maintaining or upgrading.

66 percent of owners manage IT for their companies.
