Legislators, aides partake in annual Dairy Chugging Contest in Raleigh

K. J. Stancil, an intern from Sen. Brent Jackson's office, far left, and Rep. Nathan Ramsey, far right, go toe-to-toe in the final sips of the 15th Annual North Carolina Dairy Chugging Contest. Each of the three-man teams had to drink two 8-ounce bottles of 2% milk. Ramsey, Rep. Jonathan Jordan and Rep. John Bell made up the House All Stars, and K. J. Stancil, for Sen. Brent Jackson, Kyle Hall for Sen. Neal Hunt and Ross Barnhardt for Sen. Andrew Brock drank for the Senate Super Sippers.

The N.C. House members lost by one second to the senators’ two interns and research assistant. The senators were unable to participate themselves because they were not in session.

The event was held outside the Halifax Mall entrance to the N.C. General Assembly in Raleighon Tuesday.
