TV host and stylist Clinton Kelly hits Macy’s in Durham Friday.


For all those “What Not to Wear” fans who’ve dreamed of a makeover from host Clinton Kelly – now is your chance. The stylist and television host (who’s also a regular on the syndicated weekday cooking show “The Chew”) will visit Macy’s at the Streets at Southpoint in Durham at 6 p.m. Friday. During the event, Kelly will offer fashion tips and advise attendees on how to wear the latest styles, no matter their size. Customers who spend $100 on women’s clothing or Estee Lauder products during the event will receive an umbrella designed by Kelly. To reserve a seat, visit to register.

T-shirt designer Guy Harvey will sign autographs and unveil his new ocean-inspired paintings during an event to benefit the Triangle Land Conservancy at Belk Crabtree, 1-3 p.m. Sunday. The first 50 shoppers who spend $50 on Guy Harvey purchases will receive a free poster of his art. A portion of sales will benefit the Triangle Land Conservancy’s efforts to preserve the natural environment of this region.

Salt cave
