When I traveled to Cairo, Egypt, in 2010 for my job, I met some of the most wonderful individuals. I was there to perform an audit of my company’s project operations, and the project was staffed with mostly local Egyptians. They were all so welcoming. The project controller helped us make arrangements to see some of Egypt’s most amazing sites (pyramids of Giza, sphinx, Queen Hatsepshut’s temple, King Tut’s tomb and more). But one individual in particular went out of his way to make sure we had a great trip. Shaker Badr, the project’s procurement officer, had cartouches made for me and my traveling companion. The cartouches were made on genuine papyrus paper. When I returned home, I had my cartouche framed, and it hangs in my dining room. I just love it. It was a fantastic trip – best business ever!
