  • Aldi shopping tips:

    Aldi does not accept coupons or provide bags. Bring your own reusable bags and a quarter to rent a cart. Your coin will be returned when you return the cart to the corral near the front door.

Aldi stores have good deals this week on tomatoes, zucchini, Vidalia onions and an especially good deal on gold potatoes for just 30 cents per pound.

This week's top deals:

Tomatoes: 99 cents per 3-pack.

Vidalia onions: 99 cents for 2-lb. bag.

Zucchini: $1.19 for 24-oz. package.

Sweet corn: $1.49 for 4-pack.

Gold potatoes: $1.49 for 5-lb. bag. That’s 30 cents per pound. Great deal.

Yellow mustard (20 oz.): 69 cents.

BBQ sauce (18 oz.): 99 cents.

Sweet relish (16 oz.): $1.29.

Whole wheat hamburger or hotdog buns: $1.29.

Ketchup (38 oz.): $1.49.

Mayo (30 oz.): $1.99.

Wednesday meat special:

T-bone steak: $8.99 per pound.

73% lean 5-lb. ground beef chub: $10.99.
