Durham woman charged in Raleigh with marijuana trafficking

— A Durham woman who works at a Cary nursing facility is accused of trafficking more than 10 pounds of marijuana, according to county records and the Raleigh Police Department.

Raleigh police arrested Christina Irene Cousins, 29, on New Bern Avenue on Thursday, said police spokesman Jim Sughrue. The address of the arrest matches the Best Western Raleigh Inn & Suites. She is charged with trafficking in marijuana and conspiracy to traffic in marijuana, according to county records.

Cousins is an employee of the Cary Health & Rehabilitation Center, according to county records. She was held Thursday at the Wake County Detention Center on $50,000 bond, according to county records.
