Two fun events at Capital Club 16, Piedmont restaurants

Chef Ben Adams has a vegetarian farm dinner at Piedmont restaurant next Wednesday.

Raleigh’s Capital Club 16 restaurant celebrates its fourth anniversary Sunday.

To celebrate, they are turning on the USA v. Portugal World Cup game on a large television, offering a complimentary sausage buffet, a wooden cask of Austrian beer, a cake from Crumb bakery and live music by The Little German Band. The celebration is from 4-9 p.m.

Meanwhile, Durham’s Piedmont restaurant is offering a quarterly farm dinner and the next one featuring an all-vegetarian menu will be June 25.

The four-course dinner costs $45 and starts at 6:30 p.m. Wine pairings for an additional $20.

The meal features ingredients from Root Down Farms, Four Leaf Farms and Woodfruit. The full menu is posted online at piedmontrestaurant.com.
