Wrong-way driver causes accident on I-85

Emergency operators started getting calls from drivers just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning about a vehicle, driven by 80-year-old Rosie Miller of Hurdle Mills, that went north down the southbound exit ramp at Highway 86 onto Interstate 85, ABC11 Eyewitness News reported.

At least one driver who swerved to miss the car ended up crashing at 167 mile marker. The unidentified driver was hospitalized, and is listed in good condition.
