— Thaddeus Bizzell, 37, of Raleigh was scheduled to appear before a judge Friday to face heroin-trafficking charges filed Thursday.

Raleigh police arrested Bizzell at Capital Boulevard and Capital Hill Drive and said he had at least 28 grams of heroin, resulting in two trafficking counts.

One count said Bizzell had the drug and the other said he transported it.

An arrest warrant listed an address of 2009 Quail Forest Drive, but officers listed him as having no permanent address when he was booked into the Wake County Detention Center.

Bizzell was being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.
