Natalie Rye Johnson and John Brooks Honeycutt were married on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at eleven o'clock in the morning at The Carolina County Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Reverend Robin Renteria officiated. Following the ceremony, a brunch was held on the terrace overlooking the golf course.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. R. Earl Johnson, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ryland Earl Johnson, Sr.; Mrs. Billy T. Amend and the late Lt. Col. Billy T. Amend.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lemuel Honeycutt III of Greenville, N.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lemuel Honeycutt, Jr. of Greenville, N.C.; and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Blake York of Louisburg, N.C.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and brother, Wes Johnson; and was escorted by her father. She was attended by her brother, Wes.
The groom's father served as best man.
The bride is a graduate of Needham B. Broughton High School in Raleigh and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was a Chi Omega and member of the soccer team. She made her debut in 1995. She is currently employed with CAPTRUST Financial Advisors.
The groom is a graduate of J.H. Rose High School in Greenville and UNC Wilmington where he was a member of the golf team. He is currently employed with Highland Capital Management, LP.
After a honeymoon the couple will reside in Raleigh.
