Statistically speaking: Almost a quarter of businesses have job openings

According to the National Federation of Independent Business’ June Small Business Economic Trends survey, 10 percent of companies plan to increase employment this month. Here are other findings from the report:

24% small businesses that have job openings

14% small businesses that use temporary employees

22% Companies that plan on raising average prices in the next few months

12% small businesses that said their biggest problem is weak sales

10% small companies that think it’s a good time to expand
