Grilling king Steven Raichen, who is coming to Pittsboro on Aug. 1, teaches men to cook in “Man Made Meals.”

McIntyre’s Books continues its Cooks and Books series with best-selling grilling author Steven Raichlen.

Raichlen will be cooking and signing books at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at Fearrington’s garden terrace in Pittsboro. For $75, attendees will see Raichlen demonstrate a few recipes from his new book, “Man Made Meals,” while enjoying beer and samples from the book. Included in the ticket price is an autographed copy of the book.
