Three Scouts attain Eagle Rank

Three Chapel Hill students have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, Boy Scouting’s highest honor.

Walter Evan Brown, John Pate and Sam Williams are members of Troop 835.

For his Eagle project, Evan constructed a decorative mulch pathway connecting an outdoor learning environment to East Chapel Hill High. He also stained and sealed shelving in the school’s library. Evan is the son of David Brown and Leigh Shamblin.

John made improvements to the loading dock of the Theater Department at East Chapel Hill High. He is the son of Andy and Marsha Pate.

Sam built two elevated lacrosse scoring tables for use at the Chapel Hill High stadium. He is the son of Jim and Kim Williams.
