Katherine Elizabeth Fell and Gregory Michael Frederick were married June 14, 2014, at the Blowing Rock Country Club Lake House in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The Reverend Lynn Stall of Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church, Blowing Rock, performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of James and Lynn Reep Fell of Pittsboro, North Carolina, and the granddaughter of Richard and Monika Fell of Phil Campbell, Alabama and Sam and Marilyn Bolick Reep of Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
The groom is the son of Karen Frederick of Dracut, Massachusetts, the grandson of Kathryn Nastasia and the late Peter Nastasia, and the late Robert and Pauline Frederick, all of Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Gabrielle Klepper of Tampa, Florida, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alisha Fell of Riverview, Florida, Lindsay Smith of Charleston, South Carolina, Samantha Gonzales of Mobile, Alabama, and Shannon Murphy of Methuen, Massachusetts. The groom’s twin brother Matthew Frederick, of Methuen, Massachusetts, and younger brothers Daniel Frederick of Jacksonville, Florida and Brian Frederick of Salem, New Hampshire, served as best men. Ushers were the groom’s cousin, Nicholas Ziminsky, of Methuen, Massachusetts, and the bride’s brother, James Fell, of Riverview, Florida. The groom’s niece, Ally Frederick, of Methuen, Massachusetts was the flower girl.
Steve and Ruth Smith of Cabin Cove Music provided guitar and hammered dulcimer music for the ceremony. A reception followed at the Blowing Rock Country Club Clubhouse.
Prior to the wedding, the bride, maid of honor, and bridesmaids were honored at a Bridesmaid’s Luncheon at the Green Park Inn on June 13, hosted by Sharon Wheeler of Hillsborough, North Carolina and Liza Williams Heise of Burlington, North Carolina. The Green Park Inn was also the setting of the Rehearsal Dinner, hosted by Karen Frederick, on June 13. Guests enjoyed a Welcome Party on the evening of June 13 at the Blowing Rock Country Club Lake House, followed by an after-wedding Brunch on June 15 at the home of the bride’s grandparents. The bride is a graduate of The Florida State University, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and the University of South Florida, where she received a Master’s degree in Social Science Education. She is employed at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The groom is a graduate of Western New England College, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. He is employed by Industrial Labeling Systems, Corp. in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts.
After a honeymoon to St. John, USVI, the newlyweds will reside in Dracut, Massachusetts.
