Four Wake school buses damaged by fire

From Staff ReportsJuly 7, 2014

— The Raleigh Fire Department is investigating whether a fire that damaged four school buses at East Raleigh High School Saturday evening was accidental or arson.

The fire was called in at 9:13 p.m., according to Raleigh police.

The damage to the buses, however, isn’t expected to affect the start of the Wake County Public School System’s year-round school session on Monday, according to Wake County Public Schools spokeswoman Samiha Khanna.
