Raleigh police charge man in April SunTrust stickup

— Police charged a 20 year-old Raleigh man Thursday with an April armed robbery at a SunTrust bank branch.

Don Lionel Devega of 6037 Big Sandy Drive was charged with using a semiautomatic handgun to threaten a teller at the bankat 4208 Pleasant Valley Road before escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash on April 15.

A magistrate set Devega’s bail at $75,000, and he was being held for a first court appearance Friday.
