School supplies deals, July 13-19

Posted by Amy Dunn on July 13, 2014

The traditional school year is still more than a month away, but now is the time to start stocking up on school supplies.

This Sunday marks the second full week of school supply deals so take advantage of the sales while you can.

But do your homework and read the fine print. Oftentimes, back-to-school sales require a minimum purchase and most deals also have limits.

Don’t forget to shop the sales and pick up extras to donate to a teacher you know or for a nearby public school.

With school finances tight and teacher raises still in question, a donation of school supplies would be a welcome sight at the front desk of any public school.

Here's a cheat sheet of the best deals this week -- with the fine print noted so there are no surprises for you at the cash register.
