Barber to guest on ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’

Since launching the state’s “Moral Mondays” Rev. William Barber Jr. has taken the moral movement on the road. Last week, he was in Los Angeles, standing with California Gov. Jerry Brown, and getting a standing ovation from the crowd, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

This week, Barber will share the stage with Bill Maher as a guest on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher.” The show airs at 10 p.m.

North Carolina politics has been a target of Maher’s in the past. Last year, he said this about the state: “Take every crazy, angry idea your drunk right-wing uncle mumbles at Thanksgiving, turn it into a law and that’s North Carolina today.”
