Police seek two in Guthrie Ave. shooting

Durham police are looking for two young men in connection with a Feb. 20 shooting on Guthrie Avenue, officials said in a news release.

Marquais Lajuan Holman, 22, of Fletcher Chapel Road, and Hamadi Raheem Holloway, 18, of Guthrie Avenue, have been charged with felonies in the death of a 20-year-old who was shot several times shortly after midnight in the 300 block of Guthrie.

The suspect left the scene in dark-colored car driven by a man. The victim was treated for serious injuries at Duke Hospital.

Holman is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Holloway is charged with felony aiding and abetting of the crime.

Holloway also faces five counts of failure to appear in court on earlier charges.
