It's shower season - but not of the umbrella sort. It's the time of year where you seem to be attending (and hosting!) an endless parade of bridal and baby showers.

With such a packed social schedule, some help making the simple seem fancy is especially welcomed. Enter: CheeseTiles.

These stylish, erasable ceramic labels can take an ordinary cheese plate and make it seem like a fancy affair. Each tile set comes with a dry erase marker, so you can write Gouda at one shower and Velveeta at the next. There are several styles available, including Fleur-di-Lis, Shell and Vine, as well as a coordinating cheese knife and serving plate.

The company also makes PlaceTiles (place cards), menu tiles, bottle stoppers and napkin rings.

Find the CheeseTiles ($29.95 for a set of 4) online at www.placetile.com.
