If you don't have the chops to be part of the Triangle's music scene, all is not lost. Carrboro's DSI Comedy Theater has a place for you in its "Air Guitar Madness" competition kicking off April 5 and running at 9:30 p.m. Saturdays through April 26.

Contestants will "play" a song of their choosing, and a surprise challenge song, going airhead to airhead against a team that host character Troy Sterling claims are the greatest air guitarists in the world.

Audiences pick the winners.

Tickets are $12; $10 students.

DSI is also doing a series of fundraisers in April in support of the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
