RailHawks tie Whitecaps

The Carolina RailHawks (4-4-8) began the second half of their season with a 1-1 tie against the host Vancouver Whitecaps (7-4-3) on Sunday night.

RailHawks forward Dan Antoniuk scored his third goal of the season, volleying in a header from the RailHawks' newest signing, Hamed Diallo, in the 74th minute. Vancouver responded in the 75th when Eduardo Sebrango scored to force the tie.

The RailHawks return home to play the Puerto Rico Islanders on Friday at WakeMed Soccer Park.
