CARY -- Relatives of murder victim Nancy Cooper plan to present a stone park bench in her honor on Sunday morning at Regency Park.

The dedication will take place at 9 a.m. in the northeast section of Symphony Lake Trail. Cooper's relatives from Canada, her friends and Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht are expected to attend.

Cooper was found dead July 14 in an unfinished subdivision near her home in Cary's Lochmere subdivision. A medical examiner's report indicated that she had been strangled.

Police have made no arrests and named no suspects but have been investigating her husband, Bradley Cooper. His lawyers insist that he did not kill his wife.

Bradley and Nancy Cooper had been planning a separation. Her parents and sister are now fighting with Bradley Cooper over custody of the couple's two daughters.
