Workshops: NIE offers free teacher workshops on request. We can come to your school to present a one- to two-hour faculty session using newspapers in a variety of subjects, or we can schedule workshops after school, on teacher workdays or on early-release days for groups of 15 or more. We also offer 10-hour, 1 CEU workshops. To request a workshop, call us at the numbers above.

Student Tours: Tours of The News & Observer are available for students in grades 4-12. To schedule, call Janet Dinelli at (919) 829-4853. Tours book quickly, so call several weeks in advance. Free.
