Why the addresses?

I was surprised to see the addresses of the six people arrested for allegedly trespassing in U.S. Rep. David Price's office printed in the Feb. 17 N&O. It seems strange to me to publish the addresses of those arrested for a misdemeanor charge. Not only that, trespassing certainly is not a charge which makes these people dangerous to the community in any way.

It also seems strange to me that much of the article was taken up with the addresses of the six arrested, while relatively little information about the circumstances of the arrests was included.

I noticed that in two Feb. 20 articles dealing with criminal proceedings ("Man accused of assaulting woman" [about a Wake Forest case] and "Mom's 'missile' was cup of ice" [an Associated Press story from Virginia]), no addresses were listed -- despite the fact that these crimes are far more serious than trespassing.

I can think of no reason other than sheer harassment and intimidation value for your printing the addresses of those arrested at Price's office, which does not seem to me like something of interest to a reputable newspaper like The N&O.
