Raleigh man jailed after shooting

RALEIGH - A 19-year-old Raleigh man was jailed over the weekend, charged with attempted murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

According to arrest warrants, Eric Alexander Glenn, of 704 Raleigh Blvd., was picked up Saturday. He is accused of shooting Derrick King with a .45 caliber firearm and stealing $55 from him.

Warrants say King has been hospitalized since he was shot April 25 and has had two surgeries, including one to repair a collapsed lung.

Glenn was in the Wake County jail Sunday in lieu of a $375,000 cash bond. He is due in court today.
