GROUP OFFERS HELP TO FAMILIES DEALING WITH ALCOHOLISM: An Al-Anon family group meeting will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. today at Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church at 4921 Six Forks Road in Raleigh. The group meets in Geneva Hall on the north side of building, up the stairs outside. Survivor Alateen (ages 13 to 21) and Young Alateen (ages 8 to 12) groups meet at the same time. Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope to solve common problems. VIGIL AGAINST ARMS RACE PLANNED: The Committee to Reverse the Arms Race will hold a vigil from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of Fayetteville Street in front of the Federal Building (Century Post Office) in downtown Raleigh.
