We're making changes

You'll notice some changes in today's Life, etc. Stories about faith, including stories by staff writer Yonat Shimron, the Acts of Faith photo feature and the God Squad column will appear on Thursdays. We're also starting a question-and-answer column about faith. You ask the questions, and we'll find a member of the Triangle clergy or another religion expert to answer some of them.

Check It Out, which will return next week, will also be part of the Thursday lineup.

On Fridays, we're offering a brand-new Weekend section. It will focus on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving you all the information you need to have a great weekend. We'll tell you about movies, music, art and theater. And don't worry, Greg Cox will still tell you where to eat -- or not.

On Sundays you'll find something extra in the Arts & Living section: articles about places to visit here and abroad. You'll also find the Weekly Itinerary, which lists places to go and things to do in North Carolina. Just look for the pages labeled "Go."

You'll still find Samantha Thompson Smith's Stylin' column and other stories about fashion on Mondays, your favorite food columns and stories by Andrea Weigl on Wednesdays, and Joe Miller's fitness articles on Tuesdays.

If you have questions or comments about the changes, contact Features Editor Debra Boyette at debra.boyette@newsobserver.com or 836-4903.
