Should I switch my baby's bottles to avoid the chemical BPA, a local mom asks on TriangleMom2Mom.com, The N&O's new Web site for Triangle mothers. Readers are discussing BPA-free bottles and sippy cups in the site's "Toxic Bottles" thread.

The site is for moms, women hoping to become moms and their families. Only a few weeks old, it features blogs by local mothers and forums where registered users can ask questions and share advice. Readers will find information about Triangle-area resources for kids and families, along with a calendar of kid-friendly events.

Check out the new site and send feedback to mom2mom@newsobserver.com or call site editor Sarah Lindenfeld Hall at (919) 829-8983 with any questions.

And help us celebrate the launch of the site at a party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh. Go to TriangleMom2Mom.com for details.
