The NCAA released its annual academic scores on Tuesday. The academic progress rates show the academic record, actually a four-year average from 2003-04 through 2006-07, for every Division I team. A passing grade for the APR is 925.

Teams from five area schools were penalized for poor APRs. The penalties (listed below) are meant to be enforced in 2008-09.
