No. 4 seed N.C. State will open the tournament against No. 5 seed Georgia Tech at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

PIRATES FIFTH SEED IN C-USA: No. 5 seed East Carolina will open the Conference USA tournament at 10 a.m. Wednesday against fourth-seeded Houston.

The complete schedule is in Scoreboard, Page 2D.

MOUNT OLIVE CLOSING IN ON WORLD SERIES BERTH: The championship game of the NCAA Division II Baseball South Atlantic Regional was suspended Sunday and will resume today at 11 a.m. at Mount Olive. The top-seeded Trojans were leading No. 3 seed USC-Aiken 4-2 and batting in the top of the eighth when play was halted because of heavy wind and rain.

Mount Olive (53-6) forced a winner-take-all game with a 13-2 victory in Sunday's first game. Making his first collegiate start, Kyle Jones took a perfect game into the fifth inning and pitched a complete-game four-hitter. Erik Lovett belted his third home run of the regional.
