Ace right-hander Clayton Shunick allowed only two hits in seven innings as No. 18 N.C. State handled visiting Campbell 8-2 on Friday night.Shunick (6-4) walked three and hit three batters, but Campbell (17-29) wasn't able to take advantage. Shunick retired 12 of the last 13 batters he faced before he was relieved by Sam Brown to begin the eighth.The Wolfpack (31-13) jumped on Camels starter Justin Lilly (4-3) for seven runs and eight hits in one-plus innings of work.Jeremy Synan, Marcus Jones, Ryan Pond and Nick Stanley hit consecutive one-out RBI singles to make it 4-0, and Tommy Foschi made it a five-run first inning with a sacrifice fly.ALSO FRIDAYMORE BASEBALLEAST CAROLINA 13, UAB 6: Ryan Wood hit two home runs, and he and Corey Kemp each collected three hits and four RBIs as the Pirates routed the Blazers.Kemp also homered for ECU (34-13, 9-7 Conference USA), and Seth Maness (8-0) got the win.
