At least one-third of North Carolina’s school systems are suspending their driver’s education programs this summer until they find out whether they’ll receive any state money to help pay for the classes.

Clayton hurdlers Dutch, Harrison make U.S. National Team

The 2015 U.S. Outdoor Track and Field national team will have a bit more of a blue hue thanks to Clayton High graduates Johnny Dutch and Keni Harrison.

Both standout hurdlers — and former wearers of the Comet Blue — made the national team with their runner-up finishes at the U.S. Outdoor National Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday.
