President and chief operating officer: Edward L. Field, 43, is a Duke University alumnus who joined Aldagen in November 2004 after serving as CEO of biotechnology company Inologic. He was paid $312,000 last year.
Chief financial officer: David Carberry, 55, joined Aldagen in March; he had worked for Johnson & Johnson since 1981.
Chief scientific officer: Andrew E. Balber, 63, co-founded the company in 2000 based his work at Duke University with cell therapies since 1983.
Chief medical officer: Laurence Keller, 44, joined Aldagen in November after serving as senior medical director at Kos Pharmaceuticals.
