Seventy five teams competed at the 2008 Plane Pull to see which could pull a 40,000-pound American Eagle jet a distance of 25 feet the fastest. The plane pull, which raised more than $115,000, was presented by Credit Suisse and sponsored by ResCare and American Eagle to benefit Special Olympics North Carolina.
