Regarding the story about North Carolina losing jobs to China ("China blamed for N.C. losses," Triangle & Co., July 30): When our then Sen. John Edwards was pushing for China to become a member of the World Trade Organization, I sent an e-mail message to Edwards asking him what he was going to say to his constituents when all the textiles went to China. I received a reply that he "did not have time" to answer all his mail. I never heard from him again until he was pushing lawsuits against the medical field. Let's place the blame where it belongs!!
