Hampton Dellinger, former legal counsel for Gov. Mike Easley and a former deputy attorney general of North Carolina, has joined the Chapel Hill office of Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson. Dellinger will focus on commercial litigation and regulatory issues.

Carol M. Homick was hired as a test content specialist at Measurement in Durham, a corporation that contracts with educational agencies and private businesses, to develop and score educational tests.

Ellen Strahlman was named chief medical officer at GlaxoSmithKline, a pharmaceutical and health-care company in Research Triangle Park. The chief medical officer has responsibility for patient safety, general medical governance, ethics and integrity, medical information and investigations involving human subjects relating to any GSK products.

Carl Titka was hired as account manager at Metro Technologies, a business telecommunication provider in Raleigh. His specialty is the design and implementation of VOIP telephone systems.

Andrea Dvorak-Grantz of Raleigh, a senior environmental scientist at Stantec, was promoted to associate. Stantec provides consulting services in planning, engineering, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, surveying, environmental sciences, project management and project economics.

Teressa Merck was promoted to associate at Phillips Architecture in Raleigh. She also passed the NCIDQ, the licensing exam for interior design.

Karen M. Bracey was hired as benefits account manager in the employee benefits division at Senn Dunn, an independent insurance agency in Raleigh.

Dr. Franklin Li has joined Triangle Eye Physicians in Raleigh. Li specializes in glaucoma and diabetes treatment and ocularplasty.

Derek P. Watson was hired as a physiatrist as part of the treatment staff at Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina. Watson specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and will practice in the Wake Forest, Henderson and Louisburg offices.

Eric Cox joined Kelly Marcom as graphic designer and Andrea Flickinger joined as administrative assistant. Joe Sumney was promoted to account coordinator. Kelly MarCom is a branding and advertising agency in Sanford.

Joseph Kedra, Megan Voigas and Wes Vanasek joined The Select Group in Raleigh as technical recruiters. The Select Group is a staffing agency that specializes in technology, engineering, sales, marketing and executive level positions.

Ivette Lopez was promoted to warranty manager at Atreus Homes & Communities in Raleigh.

Laura Fieselman was hired as Meredith College's sustainability coordinator. In the newly created position, Fieselman will develop a sustainability program, coordinate efforts already under way and raise awareness of environmental issues among students, faculty and staff.

Sean Jecko was appointed senior planner at McKinney, a Durham advertising agency.
