Brett Farabaugh has been appointed chief financial officer and Douglas Ferguson was appointed vice president, regulatory and clinical, at Tryton Medical, a Research Triangle Park company that develops stent systems for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Donna Stalls was promoted to vice president at BB&T. She works as a process and quality manager at the Wilson branch on Wooten Boulevard.

Christian Fortunel, senior vice president of consulting at Werum Software & Systems, was promoted to manager of Werum's Cary office. Fortunel will be responsible for hiring, managing the consultancy business, management consulting and project justification. Werum America provides software to life science industries.

Carol Hayden, executive vice president of Investors Title Exchange Corp. in Chapel Hill, was appointed Southeastern regional vice president at the Federation of Exchange Accommodators, a trade association that represents professionals who conduct like-kind exchanges under Internal Revenue Code 1031.

Emily Downing was promoted to production coordinator at Atreus Homes & Communities-Raleigh Division. She will be responsible for handling the permitting process for the company. Heidi Rogers was hired as administrative assistant in the accounting department.

Tim Kilcorse, Elizabeth LaFon and Connie Logelin were hired as account executives at CEI-The Digital Office in Raleigh.

Monica Barrett has been promoted to senior trichologist and marketing director of Finime Green Salon in Raleigh. The salon is eco-friendly and uses custom hand-made natural products.

Tom Jennings joined the Raleigh office of contractor Geo. Raper & Son as an assistant estimator. Jennings will be responsible for researching and assembling price estimates for potential construction projects, rainwater harvesting installation and customizable design-build prototypes.

Mike Allen, group creative director at RBW in Raleigh, was elected president of the American Advertising Federation's Raleigh-Durham chapter. The chapter sponsors the annual ADDY Awards in addition to monthly programs for marketing, advertising and media professionals. John Loftin, associate creative director at RBW, was elected president of the Raleigh chapter of AIGA, a professional association for designers and illustrators.

Chelsea Greemore joined BBH Design in Research Triangle Park as a designer focusing on higher education, science and health-care projects.

Brian McNeely was hired as director of sales at InfoStrength in Durham, which provides software and services to the life science industry to help companies meet FDA regulatory requirements.
