Dominick A. Santore has been hired as a senior electrical engineer at O'Brien/Atkins Associates, a design services firm in Research Triangle Park.

Scott Frey has been named remodeling division manager at Homescape Building Co. in Cary.

Jonathan Tart joined the Raleigh office of RSM McGladrey as a director. Charles Britt joined as a supervisor. RSM McGladrey provides accounting, tax and business consulting.

Joretta Nelson was hired as a consultant for the Burlington office of Performa Higher Education, a division of design firm Kahler Slater. Performa Higher Education is a consulting and design group specializing in administrative solutions, facility design and campus planning for small colleges and universities.

Charles "Trey" Collier III joined the Raleigh office of Cranfill, Sumner and Hartzog. Collier's practice will focus on workers' compensation claims. Danny F. Fulmer II joined the Raleigh office and will focus on workers' compensation claims. Donna E. "Beth" Tanner joined the Raleigh office and will focus on medical malpractice and professional negligence as well as general liability matters. Angela W. DiNoto joined the Wilmington office and will focus her practice on general liability matters.

Sed Naziri joined Cary Towne Mortgage as a senior mortgage consultant. Cary Towne Mortgage is a retail mortgage company and a subsidiary of Arrington, Edgar & Shiel based in Cary.

Jeff Adkins joined McKim & Creed, an engineering, surveying and planning firm in Raleigh as a senior project manager. Ed Oliveras joined as the director of 3-D imaging and applied metrology and Katie Pekarek joined as an engineering intern.

Travis Evans joined the Principal Financial Group in Raleigh as a financial representative of Principal Life Insurance.

Lisa Hogan joined BodyLase Skin Spa, which has locations in Cary and Raleigh. Hogan will perform medical and aesthetic cosmetic procedures.

J. Anthony "Andy" Penry, an attorney with Penry Riemann, was reappointed to the Wake Technical Community College board of trustees.

James P. Laurie III, principal attorney for the construction practice at The Law Office of James P. Laurie III, joined the board of the Triangle chapter of the American Subcontractors Association of the Carolinas, an organization of specialty trade subcontractors in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Jenny Martin, real estate/retail new business director at The King Partnership in Raleigh, was chosen to serve as chairwoman of the 2009-2010 Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence Awards gala, which honors Triangle area builders and sales and marketing professionals for marketing achievements.

The Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education named three new members to its board of directors: Skip Hill, vice president of Highwoods Properties in Raleigh, Deborah Lee, immediate past president of the Wake County Medical Society Alliance, and Meg Molloy, executive director of N.C. Prevention Partners.
