Tad Dunn has been hired as deputy director of the N.C. Military Foundation, which has its headquarters in Raleigh. Dunn will establish the Foundation's Charlotte office.

Daniel LaBadie has been named manager of preconstruction services at Hardin Construction Co. in Raleigh.

Brandon Sewell has been enrolled in the management training program at SIA Group, an insurance agency in Raleigh. He is preparing for a management position within the agency.

Fred Rash joined the civil/environmental department in the Raleigh office of The Wooten Co., which provides consulting services to local governments, educational institutions and industry. Colton Janes joined the civil/environmental department, and Lauren Daniel joined as the firm's marketing coordinator. Will Lawrence and Glenn Bowman joined the building systems group, Ben O'Connor joined as a GIS specialist, Michelle Suverkrubbe joined as a land use/environmental planner, and Dale Stansell joined as a housing rehabilitation specialist. In the Greenville office, A. Slade Hardin joined as a project engineer, and Doris Scargle joined as a CADD designer for the civil/environmental engineering department.

Matthew K. Barker was hired as director of marketing at TeleHealth Services in Raleigh, which provides communication expertise for the health care market.

JJ Froehlich has been named chief operating officer at MindWorks Multimedia, an interactive multimedia video production company in Durham.

Katherine A. Forrest has been named an associate in the New Bern office of law firm White & Allen, which also maintains offices in Kinston, Snow Hill and Goldsboro.

Sandy Temple joined MSH Insurance in Rocky Mount to work in the Personal Lines department.

Alexander R. Giquinto was appointed senior vice president of regulatory affairs and quality assurance at Regado Biosciences, which has offices in New Jersey and Durham.

Eric Nelson was appointed global head of business development, marketing and strategy at Advinus Therapeutics, a contract research services and pharmaceutical drug discovery company in Research Triangle Park.

Wanda Markuson was named branch manager and vice president of the Capital Bank branch in Clayton, which will celebrate its grand opening next month.

Bob Dohrer, practice leader of RSM McGladrey's International Assurance Services Group, is now based in Raleigh. Dohrer is the firm's International Financial Reporting Standards representative working with regulatory bodies, clients and firm leadership to help prepare stakeholders for the transition to IFRS.

Chris Grady joined the Raleigh office of Bradford Mortgage Co. as branch manager.

Laura Roberts has been named director of recruiting for the Chapel Hill district office of Carolina Condrey Group, part of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network serving eastern North Carolina.

Shared Vue hired Josh Gibbs to its Web marketing and channel support group called Facilit8. The Raleigh company develops Web marketing tools for businesses using channel marketing strategies.
