Joblessness is rising.
In this economy, that's an almost certainty. But how much? And how quickly?
The state will provide some insight today when it releases unemployment figures for October. Joblessness was at 7 percent in September, and at least one economist has said it could rise as high as 10 percent before current economic problems abate.
The figures released today will shed light on how soft the labor market is -- and just how much worse it could become.
